Time Of The Miraculous

In 1987 I traveled to Medjugorje. From the moment I arrived at the airport located about 2 hours from Medjugorje, the Miraculous began. Upon arriving in Medjugorje I gave thanks at the foot of the famous statue of Mary inside St. James Parish. It was late at night and the church was closing. As I prayed I felt the platform the statue of Mary was on was swaying. Later, I realized that it was solid and the sensation I felt was that of being gently rocked back and forth while being comforted. The next day I awoke to the sound of the crowing rooster. At this time the animals roamed freely about. Most of the people in Medjugorje had no bathroom facilities. I was told before flying there best to bring some toilet tissue. Fortunately, I didn’t need it and had the luxury of an indoor bathroom. The people of Medjugorje were very gracious and kind to all the pilgrims. The great Miracle of the spinning sun in Fatima was a daily occurrence in Medjugorje. On Holy Cross Mountain my Rosary Beads turned from silver to Gold. Three stars appeared in the early pre-dawn night making the sign of the Cross. Every day there were more and more of the Miraculous.

During Mass, the priest would inform us that there were few hosts and asked us to pray that Jesus would take care of this. And yes I witnessed the multiplication of the Hosts. I was in the back of the Church and when the usher came to ask us to form a line I was first to receive. I looked down and into the vessel of concentrated Hosts and realized that there were only a few Hosts. I also turned around and the line of parishioners was now outside the door of the Church for those receiving Communion. I sat down and thought about why the priest hadn’t given each person a tiny piece of the Host. Yet everyone received a Consecrated Host. Later I asked the priest about what had happened with the Hosts. He smiled and said that often the Church runs out of Hosts and that Jesus intervenes a multiplies what they have. There were many more Miraculous events but for me, my time in Medjugorje was a life-altering event.

I went there to petition Heaven for intervention for Jolene. Well, the rest is history. Yes, my petition was granted. Three years later I returned with Jolene. and we were Graced to Withness the Time of Total Stillness.

A Total Stillness

Jolene and I are having a late Sunday morning breakfast in Medjugorje. How do you tell a young child that she needs to hurry to eat her last slice of pizza so we can get to Sunday Mass? Jolene is especially enjoying this pizza and tells me how much she likes it. She is smiling and HAPPY. So I patiently watch and wait. We finally get there but the church is packed so we remain outside listening to the Mass from speakers. We are standing under a tree. Suddenly the sparrows flock to this tree chirping loudly. As the priest reaches the Consecration of the Host the Sparrows stop chirping, the bees stop buzzing, the wind stops, the leaves stop moving, the animals outside the church stop moving, and everything comes to a total standstill. A sheep in front of us drops its two front paws and bows. We are still standing silently waiting for the Consecration to be completed. Suddenly Jolene says aloud, “Dad, look at my hand.” I look down and see a small sparrow that has landed on her hand and is now flying from her hand. As we wait further, I notice that the Sun is spinning and there appears a very large Host that is inside and in front of the spinning sun. So I can look directly at the Sun and see the Host and also numerous colors that are spinning around the rim of the sun. Jolene and I received Holy Communion.

There are many more miraculous events we witnessed during our stay. This is the Time of the Miraculous and it is amazing. It certainly changed my life from the prodigal son in my younger years. My conversion continues each day as I go deeper into the Spiritual Life I find myself in at this time. One day I will transition from my earthly life. But I must wait until God calls me forth.

The Miracle Of Faith

In 2013 we arranged our Medjugorje Pilgrimage with 206 Tours to stay at the home of Ivan Dragicevic between August 11-19. This time Jolene climbed to the top of Holy Cross Mt. with the other members of the group and I remained back in the private Chapel. I hadn’t the strength to climb any Mountain at my age. Several days later we did go to visit the Blue Cross and climb Apparition Hill.

During our stay, I showed Ivan the work Jolene and I had done on the Fatima Chaplet and gave him a copy of the Trifold. You can see this same Fatima Chaplet trifold on this site. We also placed one on Apparition Hill. Ivanka who is Ivan’s translator was kind enough to edit the Croatian language copy we had created at that time. Years later all the language translations of the Fatima Chaplet were placed on pause. It was decided to stay with just the English version. Jolene and I decided that it would be in the best interest of the people of each country who desired the Fatima Chaplet in their language to create the translation themselves

The Miracle we witnessed and participated in at this time was and remains the FAITH of the people. Our faith grows stronger with each passing moment.

August 25th Message:

August 25, 2021

“Dear children! With joy, I am calling all of you, little children, who have responded to my call: be joy and peace. Witness with your lives Heaven, which I am bringing to you. It is time, little children, that you be a reflection of my love for all those who do not love and whose hearts hatred has conquered. Do not forget: I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus, that He may give you His peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Dear Family of Mary!

In the August 25, 2021 message, Our Lady challenged us to something that seemed to me impossible. It was this:

“It is time, little children, that you be a reflection of my love for all those who do not love and whose hearts hatred has conquered…”

She challenged us to be a reflection of her love! That alone is difficult since she is the Queen of love, the Queen of compassion and goodness and tenderness. But she carried it further, she challenged us to become a reflection of her love for “those who do not love and whose hearts hatred has conquered.”

I have not yet been able to rectify myself to this challenge. I am too weak. I can’t feel love for those who hate. It is not humanly possible.

And yet, she said “It is time…” She is not waiting any longer for me to love with the love of Her Son. It is time.

Then I found this little meditation in the September Magnificat – the Meditation for September 9. It is by Saint Claude La Colombiere. St. Claude finally showed me the way I could attempt such love, even taking into account my weak humanness:

Saint Claude la Colombiere wrote:

I have often pondered with joy and admiration over the extreme care Jesus took to urge us to love others. In the Gospel, we read that he commanded it above all things. Love one another as I have loved you. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another. Another time he tells us that no reason either of interest or of honor allows us to hate another; he will not acknowledge us and he ranks us with pagans and infidels if we do not love our enemies, if we will not pray for them, and serve them when occasion offers. It seems as though the whole Christian code was reduced to this point. It is the summing up of all the commandments. Saint Paul tells us this: Love is the fulfillment of the law.

My God, how sweet and humane this commandment seems! How worthy of the goodness and wisdom of God! It is but reasonable that men who have the same nature, the same religion, the same Father, men who are obliged to live together, who are fellow travelers, and who are to be together for all eternity in heaven, should begin to love each other here and should render each other mutual services such as they would wish themselves to receive.

As for feelings of resentment, I can only say one thing: anything that is not voluntary is not a sin, and great charity may exist simultaneously with strong indeliberate feelings of hatred and revenge. All that is required is that despite them you do not give up praying for the people for whom you feel an aversion; that you speak and act toward them as if you liked them, and that in the depths of your heart, you desire to have all the charity that God wishes those who love him have.

“Help my Immaculate Heart to Triumph!”

Dear Mary TV Family, Children of Our Lady of Medjugorje:

The Holy Father’s March 25, 2022, Act of Consecration to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart responds to Our Lady’s call: “My children, consecrate yourselves to me completely…I am inviting you to the consecration of my Immaculate Heart. With your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled.”

On March 25, 1984, referring specifically to Our Lady’s request at Fatima, Pope St. John Paul ll consecrated to her Immaculate Heart. In response to a letter, I had sent to Sr. Lucia of Fatima, Fr. John De Marchi, I.M.C., sent me a February 12, 1992, letter from her stating she was praying for my intention – unity between the Fatima and Medjugorje movements – and in response to my question, “In your opinion, Sr. Lucia, has Our Lady accepted the consecration of the Holy Father? Has the consecration Our Lady asked for taken place?” she responded, “Yes, the consecration of the world is well established.”

But, even so, the devil did not quit. On August 8, 1985, Our Lady called to us: “Dear children! Today I call you especially now to advance against Satan using prayer. Satan wants to work still more now that you know he is at work. Dear children, put on the armor for battle and with the Rosary in your hand defeat him!” The “armor for battle” means to “Pray without ceasing!” (Eph 6: 18).

Twenty- four years before Our Lady of the Rosary started coming as the Queen of Peace to Medjugorje, Sr. Lucia had said: “The devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Virgin. A decisive battle is a final battle where one side will be victorious, and the other side will suffer defeat. From now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God, or we are for the devil. There is no other possibility.”

We must pray without ceasing! “Dear children! Also, today the Most High permits me to be with you and to lead you on the way of conversion. Many hearts have shut themselves to grace and have become deaf to my call. You, little children, pray and fight against temptation and all the evil plans that the devil offers you through modernism. Be strong in prayer and with the cross in your hands pray that evil may not use you and may not conquer you. I am with you and pray for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (March 25, 2015)

It was right after making his March 25, 1984, Act of Consecration to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart in response to her call from Fatima, that Pope St. John Paul ll had said, “Medjugorje is the continuation and fulfillment of Fatima!”

Upon his episcopal ordination in 1951 a communist concentration camp, Bishop Paolo Hnilica was given the mission field, “Berlin, Peking, Moscow” – i.e., the East. Though risking imprisonment – he was “public enemy #1” in Russia – he entered Russia clandestinely and on March 24, 1984 (bishops could do the consecration with the Pope on either the 24^th or 25^th) behind an issue of the communist newspaper Pravda, he celebrated Mass in the Kremlin consecrating Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Upon his return to Rome the following day he entered St. Peter’s Square as the Holy Father was pronouncing the words of consecration.

Grateful to hear the bishop’s news, right after making that Consecration the Pope invited Bishop Hnilica to his papal apartment where they spent several hours together, the Holy Father reading aloud to him from the book Fr. Rene Laurentin sent him, “Is the Virgin Mary Appearing in Medjugorje.” At one point the Holy Father asked him, “Why didn’t you stop in Medjugorje on your way back to Rome?” to which Bishop Hnilica replied, “Your Holiness, the Vatican has forbidden it.” With a wave of his hand St. John Paul ll said, “Oh, pay no attention! Go to Medjugorje. Medjugorje is the continuation and fulfillment of Fatima!”

Our Lady confirmed it in her August 25, 1991, message from Medjugorje. And it was the only time she ever mentioned another apparition:

“Dear Children! Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when my plan has begun to be realized. Satan is strong and wants to sweep away my plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not strong in His decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children, to pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to self-renunciation for nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled. I call you, dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun is fully realized. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

That month the Soviet Union fell apart. But the devil did not quit. Our Lady called the following month:

“Dear children! Today in a special way I invite you all to prayer and renunciation. For now as never before Satan wants to show the world his shameful face by which he wants to seduce as many people as possible onto the way of death and sin. Therefore, dear children, help my Immaculate Heart to triumph in the sinful world. I beseech all of you to offer prayers and sacrifices for my intentions so I can present them to God for what is most necessary. Forget your desires, dear children, and pray for what God desires, and not for what you desire. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (September 25, 1991)

St. Maximilian Kolbe, designated by St. John Paul ll the Patron for this difficult time, told the church: “The Immaculate alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan. She seeks souls that will consecrate themselves entirely to her, that will become in her hands forceful instruments for the defeat of Satan.”

Our Lady’s February 25, 2022, message set the stage not just for tomorrow’s consecration, but for a new way of living for all of us, every day, from now on!

“Dear children! I am with you, and we pray together. Help me with prayer, little children, that Satan may not prevail. His power of death, hatred, and fear has visited the earth. Therefore, little children, return to God and, to prayer, to fasting and renunciation, for all those who are downtrodden and poor and have no voice in this world without God. Little children, if you do not return to God and His Commandments, you do not have a future. That is why He sent me to you to guide you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (February 25, 2022)

Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, in this time of trial we turn to you. As our Mother, you love us and know us: no concern of our hearts is hidden from you. Mother of mercy, how often we have experienced your watchful care and your peaceful presence! You never cease to guide us to Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Yet we have strayed from that path of peace. We have forgotten the lesson learned from the tragedies of the last century, the sacrifice of the millions who fell in two world wars. We have disregarded the commitments we made as a community of nations. We have betrayed peoples’ dreams of peace and the hopes of the young. We grew sick with greed, we thought only of our own nations and their interests, we grew indifferent and caught up in our selfish needs and concerns. We chose to ignore God, to be satisfied with our illusions, to grow arrogant and aggressive, to suppress innocent lives, and to stockpile weapons. We stopped being our neighbor’s keepers and stewards of our common home. We have ravaged the garden of the earth with war and by our sins we have broken the heart of our heavenly Father, who desires us to be brothers and sisters. We grew indifferent to everyone and everything except ourselves. Now with shame, we cry out: Forgive us, Lord! Holy Mother, amid the misery of our sinfulness, amid our struggles and weaknesses, amid the mystery of iniquity that is evil and war, you remind us that God never abandons us, but continues to look upon us with love, ever ready to forgive us and raise us up to new life. He has given you to us and made your Immaculate Heart a refuge for the Church and for all humanity. By God’s gracious will, you are ever with us; even in the most troubled moments of our history, you are there to guide us with tender love. We now turn to you and knock at the door of your heart. We are your beloved children. In every age you make yourself known to us, calling us to conversion. At this dark hour, help us and grant us your comfort. Say to us once more: “Am I not here, I who am your Mother?” You are able to untie the knots of our hearts and of our times. In you, we place our trust. We are confident that, especially in moments of trial, you will not be deaf to our supplication and will come to our aid. That is what you did at Cana in Galilee when you interceded with Jesus and he worked the first of his signs. To preserve the joy of the wedding feast, you said to him: “They have no wine” (Jn 2:3). Now, O Mother, repeat those words and that prayer, for in our own day we have run out of the wine of hope, joy has fled, fraternity has faded. We have forgotten our humanity and squandered the gift of peace. We opened our hearts to violence and destructiveness. How greatly we need your maternal help! Therefore, O Mother, hear our prayer. Star of the Sea, do not let us be shipwrecked in the tempest of war. Ark of the New Covenant, inspire projects and paths of reconciliation.

Queen of Heaven, restore God’s peace to the world. Eliminate hatred and the thirst for revenge, and teach us forgiveness. Free us from war, protect our world from the menace of nuclear weapons. Queen of the Rosary, make us realize our need to pray and to love. Queen of the Human Family, show people the path of fraternity. Queen of Peace, obtain peace for our world. O Mother, may your sorrowful plea stir our hardened hearts. May the tears you shed for us make this valley parched by our hatred blossom anew. Amid the thunder of weapons, may your prayer turn our thoughts to peace. May your maternal touch soothe those who suffer and flee from the rain of bombs. May your motherly embrace comfort those forced to leave their homes and their native land. May your Sorrowful Heart move us to compassion and inspire us to open our doors and to care for our brothers and sisters who are injured and cast aside. Holy Mother of God, as you stood beneath the cross, Jesus, seeing the disciple at your side, said: “Behold your son” (Jn 19:26). In this way, he entrusted each of us to you. To the disciple, and to each of us, he said: “Behold, your Mother” (v. 27). Mother Mary, we now desire to welcome you into our lives and our history. At this hour, a weary and distraught humanity stands with you beneath the cross, needing to entrust itself to you and, through you, to consecrate itself to Christ. The people of Ukraine and Russia, who venerate you with great love, now turn to you, even as your heart beats with compassion for them and for all those peoples decimated by war, hunger, injustice, and poverty. Therefore, Mother of God and our Mother, to your Immaculate Heart we solemnly entrust and consecrate ourselves, the Church, and all humanity, especially Russia and Ukraine. Accept this act that we carry out with confidence and love. Grant that war may end and peace spread throughout the world. The “Fiat” that arose from your heart opened the doors of history to the Prince of Peace. We trust that, through your heart, peace will dawn once more. To you, we consecrate the future of the whole human family, the needs and expectations of every people, the anxieties and hopes of the world. Through your intercession, may God’s mercy be poured out on the earth and the gentle rhythm of peace return to mark our days. Our Lady of the “Fiat”, on whom the Holy Spirit descended, restore among us the harmony that comes from God. May you, our “living fountain of hope”, water the dryness of our hearts. In your womb Jesus took flesh; help us to foster the growth of communion. You once trod the streets of our world; lead us now on the paths of peace. Amen.
